The game is extremely fun, taking full advantage of the Wii’s abilities. The levels are cleverly created, and you can even make your own, which is the best part of this game. Although you can use the Wii Balance Board with this, it is way too hard to keep your marble in control. |

About 5 to 7 years ago I played a version of this game either on a friend’s XBox of Playstation2. While it’s been a while & I have to compare from memory it is just as fun on the Wii as on other platforms. I use the Wiimote & Nunchuck combo & have no problem w/ the controls. I haven’t tried the other controls. The graphics seem just fine to me. One note. I have only played this version alone so I don’t know how it plays with others. Also after I regain the experience I used to have wit this game then I will try the Wifi mode to run races with others across the internet. Right now it’s fun and balanced with enough easy and challenging things to keep it interesting. Just getting started yesterday while I have earned some shop points from races, I found I could really rack up the points from doing multiple tricks on the ski jump–enough to unlock two bonus tracks at 100,000 point each. Next I’ll have to memorize the stunt controls get down a consistency so I can begin unlocking more vehicles, and then more tracks, etc… One thing I disliked was most of the music. A few songs are OK, but most of the time I turn the music down to 5% and leave the other sound effects way up. I wish they let you choose from your own background music from the SD memory card. |

We already had this game for her DS and she really liked it. So I got this one for her and she screamed with excitement when she saw it. She loves all things Barbie and she loves horses even more. It seems a little blah for a grown-up but she really enjoys it. |

Purchased the Acer Netbook, it works fine, a bit sluggish on the web access but acceptable. The main value is its size and functionality for web apps, support for office, general easy of use. If there was an option to include more (factory installed) memory for a performance upgrade, I would purchase it. This machine, while adequate, is not close to a regular laptop. The question is: Would the memory upgrade give it a performance pop, or are there other technology throttles in the system, such as the disk drive? Secondly, a number of people have commented on removing the bloatware installed on the machine, it would be great to have a specific list of what can be removed, some utilities appear to provide critical functionality. Overall, the Acer is a good value. |
